Mae'r datganiad hwn yn cadarnhau bod adolygiad hygyrchedd o system archebu Cofrestryddion Cyngor Powys a ddarperir gan Zipporah Cyf wedi'i gynnal ar feysydd sy'n darparu gwasanaeth i’r cyhoedd ar y system sy'n cynnwys y prosesau archebu, gyda gosodiadau'n cael eu gwneud ar gyfer y wefan i gyflawni ein nod o gyrraedd lefel AA Canllawiau Hygyrchedd Cynnwys y We (WCAG) 2.2, gan gymryd W3C fel canllawiau safonol y diwydiant. Wrth gynnal yr adolygiad, rydym yn profi gydag phecynnau ac yn gweithio’n ymarferol drwy'r system i sicrhau ei fod yn cyrraedd y safon ac yn datrys unrhyw fater rydym yn dod ar ei draws. O'r herwydd, mae'r datganiad hwn yn brawf ein bod wedi gwneud pob ymdrech i wneud y system mor hygyrch â phosibl i bob defnyddiwr.

Crëwyd y wefan hon gan Zipporah Cyf ar gyfer Cyngor Sir Powys. Rydym am i gymaint o bobl â phosibl allu defnyddio’r wefan hon. Er enghraifft, mae hynny'n golygu y dylech allu:

• newid lliwiau, lefelau cyferbyniol a ffontiau gan ddefnyddio gosodiadau porwr neu ddyfais

Summary

This statement confirms that an accessibility review on Powys Council Registrars booking system provided by Zipporah Ltd has been conducted on public facing areas of the system comprising the booking processes, with fixes performed for the website to meet our aim to reach the level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, taking W3C as the industry standard guidelines. When conducting the review, we test with tools and manually work through the system to make sure it is up to standard and fix any issue we come across. As such this statement serves as proof that we have made every effort to make the system as accessible as possible for all users.

This website is created by Zipporah Ltd for Powys County Council. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

• change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings
• zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
• navigate most of the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software
• listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA, Windows Narrator and VoiceOver)

We have also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

How accessible this website is

The site is partially accessible to level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 with these limited exceptions:

• The autocomplete attribute for SC 1.3.5: Identify Input Purpose (Level AA) cannot be used on login pages and password fields due to security concerns identified by penetration testing.
• Zipporah are not responsible for the text, any content within customisable areas of the website or documents uploaded and as such cannot control this element which is the responsibility of Powys County Council as is any client approved style.

Testing methodology

The website has been tested using in-person monitoring and the WAVE browser extension, a tool recognised for the purpose of accessibility testing. This extension acts by checking the currently viewed page flagging any potential issue or accessibility error. We strive to clear all errors and achieve all passes on each page visible on the website.

The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018 (the ‘accessibility regulations’).
